HOW DO I APPLY?

 Click on Vendor info to find the link to the application.  NOTE!: the application only is available after January 1st each year until the festival.  After that it is pulled pending the new application with any changes being posted.

 

WHAT TYPES OF BOOTHS ARE ALLOWED?

We are a food/produce and crafters ( MADE BY THE VENDOR, NO DIRECT DISTRIBUTER ) festival, no informational/service/political booths are permitted

 

NO GENERATORS.  

 

WHERE DO I GET A PERMIT TO SELL FOOD?

 PLEASE CALL THE WARREN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AT 513-695-1220 FOR YOUR PERMIT FOR THE DAY OR VISIT THEIR WEBSITE AT www.wcchd.com 

BOOTH SIZES?  

We both 10X20 and 10X10 booths

 

TENTS OR TRUCKS OR TRAILERS?

We only allow tents or open tables, no food trucks or concession trailers

 

BOOTH PRICING?  

Please reference the application itself for pricing, the price varies depending on your product and needs

 

SET UP?

We have early set-up on friday for a fee.

Set up Saturday happens at 7AM the day of the festival.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SET UP EARLIER.  Committee members are in the festival area early to make certain that this important rule is followed

 

TEAR DOWN?

Tear down STARTS at 7:15pm.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BRING IN ANY VEHICLE PRIOR TO A COMMITTEE MEMBER MOVING THE BARRICADES, THIS IS REASON FOR FUTURE EXPULSION!

 

Do you allow distribution of information (ie. handing out flyers or pamphlets?)

We insist on No solicitation of any kind including, but not limited to, distribution of samples, promotional items, flyers, pamphlets, or business cards.

Can we walk around and sell items or services?

No sales permitted outside of assigned and confirmed booth spaces.

Can we make speeches or verbally advertise services, or lecture the attendees?

No public speaking or other vocal interruptions of the festival is permitted.

 Can we carry signs or posters or set up a display on the fairgrounds property?

No banners, displays, posters, or other signage may be carried or staged in the festival or parking area. 

Can we come sing or play music in the festival area for tips? Can we do it for free?

No Busking or musical performances without an authorization letter and confirmation letter from the Country Applefest committee.  But, please contact us and we may be able to come to an agreement to allow a limited number of performers.

 

 

THE WAITING LIST?

We sell out really, really early.  Once we are sold out the waiting begins!  We keep all applications in order as they are received and when an opening becomes available we begin calling people on the list.

HOW DO I GET ON THE WAITING LIST?

Just apply as normal, including payment.  We will not cash your payment unless we have spoken with you first. 

WHEN WILL WE CALL YOU?

 We do not usually contact anyone unless we have an opening.    

DOES IT ROLL OVER TO THE NEXT YEAR?

No, the waiting list is destroyed at the end of the festival and it starts over again.  We hope to someday soon increase the size of the festival to allow more quality vendors access to spaces, but we haven't sorted that out quite yet.  

HOW MANY ARE ON IT? OR "WHAT NUMBER AM I?"

As frustrating as this is for the vendors on the list it's hard to give a number.  Some vendors cannot operate without electric, or operate grills that make their locations limited so the number does not stay true.  Some vendors may have booked something else while waiting.  So your actual "number in line" doesn't always guarantee that number in calling order.  Perfect example:  a vendor has beautiful handmade quilts, we get a cancellation up in the heavy cooking/food area.  We would not want to put those quilts up where the smoke and food odors would permeate their beautiful product!  We do try to make sure that our vendors are placed in a manner that will benefit them and not just fill the space to fill it.
