Does anyone know the name of the Christmas wreath and decoration woman who had a booth in 2008 but not in 2009? She had absolutely gorgeous items and also has 2 open houses where she sells her items out of her home. Her home is comletely decorated in Chrsitmas theme year round.

It was mentioned that it was found odd that no one mentioned who the pies belonged to while the judging was going on. The judges of the pie eating contest were not permitted to know who any of the pies were baked by only the number associated with each pie. That way there would not be any association of any person with any particular pie to make certain that the contest would be fair. It was up to the four judges to select the pie that they felt was the winner overall, and not up to the committee. I do not recall if it said anywhere that the copy of the recipe would be returned but the committee member that ran the contest will make certain that the recipes will be returned to the entrants. We apologize that everyone did not have a pleasant experience.

Re: Dogs at the festival...
The Country Applefest Committee has asked the public on the City Show and also in the newspapers to not bring their pets. Unfortunately people do not always comply with this request.

Why were there dogs all over the place??

Visiting this event always puts me in the Fall season 'mood'.

We love the AppleFest. Our family comes every year.
